The Friendship Group celebrated Hilda’s 100th Birthday. Her nephew and his wife and neice joined us for the afternoon. Hilda had chosen her favourite lunch, steak pie!
After cutting her birthday cake, we had a mini ‘this is your life’. Hilda has a lovely sense of humour; her memories of life in the early 20th Century, with experiences of outings by pony and trap, and the first charabancs, kept us all amused!
We hope she keeps well and we can enjoy her cheerfulness for years to come.
