Latest update from Yei, Sudan

We have recently received a newsletter from the YWAM agricultural project that we support in Yei, Sudan.  A couple of years ago we raised money for the purchase of bulls and ploughing equipment for this project.  George Takan, who runs the project, observes that that the program has had a very positive impact on local food stability and sustainability.  This has been recognised by the local community to the extent that neighbours are now giving pieces of land to the YWAM project, in order that the agricultural program can be extended and more food can be produced.  They also need to consider more effective ways of storing the harvest in the year ahead.  DSC00518Praise God that this project is able to help provide food and hope for vulnerable members of the community there and for the contribution that our fundraising and donations has made.
