Our second Messy Church event on Saturday 5th December was attended by over 50 people of all ages.
As they arrived, refreshments were offered and there was a hive of activity as people took part in making a variety of crafts including decorating snowflake biscuits, making different Christmas decorations and candle holders. Children and adults alike enjoyed making a nativity collage which was displayed at the front of the church once completed.
Whilst volunteers transformed craft tables into dinner tables, we had a time of singing and an interactive story of the Nativity and the time was concluded with families enjoying a meal together.
The next Messy ‘Easter’ Church will be held on March 5th from 4-6pm
