Ladies Clothes Swap

Despite the freezing conditions on Saturday evening, we had a good turnout of ladies come to the fourth Clothes Swap Party evening, hosted at the Church.  People brought something that they no longer wear from their wardrobe and swapped it for something else.  Everyone seemed to find something that they liked and we had a really good evening. We also enjoyed drinks and home-made cakes, served by some very smartly dressed men, and had the opportunity to buy cards from local artists, Lesley Griggs and Linda Wain.

The evening raised £359 for the Tumaini Orphan Project in Arusha, Tanzania.  The amount will be taken out to the orphanage in April, when a team from St Barnabas are going to stay at the YWAM base in Arusha for 2 weeks.

Many thanks to all who supported the evening!
