Fun at our new toddler group

We had 10 beautiful children at our first toddler group.  It was lovely meeting their parents.  A lot of fun was had by all.  It was so lovely to watch these little ones becoming more confident throughout the morning and socialising after having very little socialisation throughout lockdown.  Looking forward to this Thursday’s group.

Changes at St Barnabas as restrictions are lifted

As we all experience further relaxation of Covid restrictions, we will now not be taking temperatures or recording names on a register for track and trace purposes.

We would still like you to wear a mask whilst singing, but it is a matter of personal preference whether you wear a mask throughout the whole service or not, but there’s no obligation to do so.

Hand sanitisers will still be available.

We will be serving tea and coffee once again and all of us must feel free to make an informed choice as to whether or not we stay for this. So please do not feel any obligation to do so.

Rows of chairs have been put back with one metre between each row. There remains some socially distanced chairs at the back of church in addition to those with individuals’ names on. If you would prefer a socially distanced chair, ask Louise Latham our administrator (office@stbd.org.uk) to put your name on one or come early.

A new curate for St Barnabas

We are delighted to announce that John Ferguson is joining us as a deacon and self-supporting minister for 6 hours per week from Sunday 11th July.

Sadly with continuing restrictions, a bring and share lunch after church on that day to celebrate and welcome John to Barney’s will not be going ahead.
